Emirates Aviation University (EAU) recently celebrated the graduation of 220 postgraduate and undergraduate students. The ceremony was presided over by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group, who awarded the certifications to the graduates.

From the 220 graduates, 69 were sponsored by National Recruitment and Development division of the Emirates Group. Their specialisations included Bachelor degrees in business management, software engineering, aircraft maintenance engineering, and air transport management.

In attendance were elements from the Emirates Group’s management, as well as parents and other guests.

Dr. Ahmad Al Ali, chancellor of Emirates Aviation University, said: “Congratulations to our students from all around the world who have worked hard work to complete their education. Earning a degree is a big accomplishment and is a platform they will use to pursue their dreams and careers.

“At the university, we work hard to prepare and equip all our students with the skills and confidence to that they will need to face the ever changing challenges in the modern workforce.”

Earlier this year, EAU unveiled five new business programmes designed to meet rising demand for business-related degrees within the industry. These programmes consisted of accounting and finance, global logistics and supply chain management, business administration, marketing, and HR management.

The degrees are dually awarded by EAU in close collaboration with Coventry University. Additionally, the new degrees help complement existing programmes offered by the EAU Business School.
