Culprit Creative, a Los Angeles-based production agency, is visiting Dubai this week to meet with potential clients including luxury automobile companies, hospitality groups, fashion brands, and real estate developers.
“This is our first trip to Dubai and we plan to meet with several companies we're excited about. We're absolutely open to meeting with more,” co-founder Dylan Trussell told DPME.
Creative Culprit, whose motto is “Saving the world from boredom”, has already created successful campaigns for Tesla, Gourmet footwear, Humin, Bootcase, Legendary Pictures and LVMH. It has also made music videos for several major recording artists including Robbie Williams and KoRn.
The Culprit Creative team, which consists of CEO David Dinetz, co-founder Dylan Trussell and cinematographer Colt Seman, specialises in viral marketing campaigns for the digital age.
All three members of the team are currently on their way to Dubai and will be armed with production kit. “We are also bringing our red epic, a set of Schneider cinema lenses, and the brand new DEFY motion stabilisation rig,” Dinetz said.
The team focuses on brand storytelling, reaching the target audience “without the feeling of being sold” according to Dinetz.
The company also specialises in high speed filming using a repurposed robotic arm traditionally used to build automobiles. This allows Culprit Creative to add motion to slow motion, which it claims creates a “never before seen imagery” as its trademark style.
Most recently, Culprit Creative directed and produced a music video for the American metal band, Korn, landing them the front page of Rolling Stone Magazine online.
Culprit Creative was awarded Forbes 30 Under 30 award for marketing in 2014.
