A lawsuit brought by Moroccan telecoms company Inwi against the Maroc Telecom (IAM), which was due to start on 21 May 2018, has been postponed to 2 July, according to Reuters.

Inwi’s lawyer Abdellatif Ouahbi told Reuters: ‘The case was postponed to enable the lawyers to prepare their defence.’

Inwi filed a lawsuit against Maroc Telecom for non-compliance with regulatory provisions related to fair competition, demanding more than $620 million in damages. Inwi alleged that Maroc Telecom broke competition law by holding more than 40% of the market.
