Qatar's new electronic recruitment system smooths recruitment procedures all round.
The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA) has begun to receive recruitment requests through its electronic system.
This comes after the cancellation of the permanent committee for recruitment.
The new system eases the entire recruitment process for both companies and employers.
The MADLSA and the Ministry of the Interior (MoI) will share the data base.
A basic requirement according to the labour law to get the requested work visas is a signed contract between the employee and the employer, outlining the responsibilities of the applicant company.
Once the MADLSA has reviewed the requests and given its input, the applications will be transferred to the MoI for the required further actions.
The employers can then follow up with the status of their requests through the electronic system.
