The MoU was signed between Eng. Sulaiman I. Al-Amoud, secretary general of SCE and Abdulaziz Daghestani, deputy general manager of Grundfos Saudi Arabia.

The training will provide recent graduates with basic skills and knowledge of how pumps work, pump applications, technologies, pumps types, etc.

The one-month course, which includes a mix of theory and practice, will be SCE approved.

The MoU also has plans to offer advanced training to the more experienced members of the council; to help engineering professionals to stay at the forefront of the latest developments on pumps and water application systems.

It shall also extend to events and marketing activities and will create a platform for the exchange of knowledge between both parties.

Riyadh-headquartered SCE operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce.
