The new headquarters of Ajman Civil Defence has been launched by HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and chairman of the Ajman Executive Council.

The facility, developed at a cost of $10.9m (AED40m), is located in Al Jurf 2. It comprises administrative offices, a customer service centre, a multi-purpose hall, and a firefighting centre, as well as officers and public residences.

Designed according to national sustainability standards, the facility will offer aid and assistance to civil defence departments around the country, UAE state news agency, WAM, reported.
