Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) kicked off the Dubai Fitness Challenge with 70 team members participating in the Desert Warriors Challenge on October 20. The team - KHDA Gladiators - ran 500km between them and battled their way through 1160 obstacles. Schools in Dubai are also showing their support for the Dubai Fitness Challenge - a city-wide initiative of HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council for Dubai Government - that calls on people of all fitness levels to participate in 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days from 20 October to 18 November 2017.Every private school in Dubai has officially registered for the challenge, and KHDA director general Dr Abdulla Al Karam will visit schools and universities every weekday morning to get #FitTogether.
