Joel Elster: Gaucho is a world-renowned brand with 17 restaurants worldwide and it is famous for beef, reared on the Pampas of Argentina exclusively for Gaucho.We offer the largest selection of Argentinian wines in the Middle East, which are created in collaboration with our wine director, Phil Cozier, and handpicked from selected wineries in Argentina.
Juan Pablo Nores: Firstly and most importantly, all our meat is from Argentina and is 100% grass fed, free-range and halal. Cattle that is handpicked by us makes Gaucho the only restaurant in Dubai that can promise consistent year-round produce. We do not use any preservatives in our meat, therefore it is a healthy option on our guests’ plates.
How do the front-of-house and back-of-house teams support each other?
Joel Elster: Front-of-house and back-of-house work completely as one team, each with a total understanding of the roles they assume, offering our guests an unsurpassed fine dining experience. We all learn from each other and we provide cross trainings between team members assisting each other on a daily basis.
Juan Pablo Nores: We have an amazing channel of communication. We have morning briefings and debriefings daily, and a great team that understands departments’ role clearly. In a city of mostly expats, we have created a warm family-style atmosphere. The team is there for each other in good times and bad, creating a friendly yet professional atmosphere.
