Babaji has announced the launch of its first international venue outside of London at Dubai’s City Walk.
Turkish restaurant Pide will open this month, bringing its interpretation of one of the Middle East’s staple cuisines – flatbreads, topped with everything from chargrilled courgettes to prawns or walnuts.
The menu is supplemented by meze items ranging from tabbouleh salad, cheese and spinach borek and lamb shish served with flatbread and red onion.
There is also a grill section including dishes such as chargrilled baby chicken and grilled seabream served whole.
The space at City Walk's new venue is dominated by large-scale Pide ovens and an open kitchen. Traditional Turkish tea and coffee will be served and there will be a dedicated baklava counter.
