Set in the Intercontinental Hotel Dubai Marina, Jason Atherton's Marina Social Dubai has appointed a new head chef and will re-open this month.

Serving a blend of British and Mediterranean cuisine, the newly launched menu aims to redefine the social dining experience and will once again welcome patrons on Monday July 24th.

Newly-appointed head chef Craig Best brings with him 13 years of culinary experience. Beginning his career at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants, Best worked his way up the ladder, from demi-chef to sous chef.

Best then joined La Trompette, a one-Michelin Star restaurant in London as chef de partie and went on to work at venues such as Michael Nadra Chiswick and Marcus Wareing’s Tredwell’s and The Gilbert Scott before coming to Dubai.

According to the release, Best will bring a new attitude to the property, which is featured on The Diners Club 50 Best Discovery Series, and will oversee the creation of new dishes as well as classics such as the burrata and the goat’s cheese churros.
