The UAE government announced that UAE nationals can now travel to Rwanda without a pre-entry visa, according to a story published by Arabian Business.
The agreement is the result of a memorandum of understanding signed by UAE’s minister of state for international cooperation Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, and Rwanda’s minister of foreign affairs, cooperation and East African community Louise Mushikiwabo, the report said.
The new announcement applies to UAE citizens who hold regular, private, diplomatic and VIP passports. The rule also exempts Rwandans with diplomatic passports from requiring prior visa arrangements while travelling to the UAE.
Earlier in December, similar agreements were announced that allow UAE nationals to enter Chile and Ukraine without pre-entry visas, Arabian Business reported.
