As part of its participation at the annual Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), Honeywell is showcasing its Honeywell Connected Plant offering.
The solution helps manufacturers manage their respective plants more efficiently and in a safer manner through the utilisation of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Additionally, Honeywell boasted that the range of smart technologies being showcased at ADIPEC could help maximise plant throughput and yields by 7%, while also improving plant availability by 2%.
Norm Gilsdorf, president, Honeywell Middle East, Russia, Turkey & Central Asia, commented: "Oil and gas organisations in the Middle East are focused on optimising asset performance and safety in a way that increases profitability across the entire enterprise, and we recognise that making intelligent use of data is crucial to staying competitive."
He added: "At Honeywell, we leverage the power of IIoT through advanced software to connect the entire plant operation - from workers to infrastructure - enabling it to perform more intelligently and eliminating unnecessary cost, downtime and complexity. Honeywell has been supplying key technologies to support the global oil and gas industries for over 100 years, and we look forward to leading the ‘connected' conversation at ADIPEC 2017."
As part of its participation at ADIPEC 2017, the company is also highlighting the benefits of its connected solutions, particularly around security and worker safety. This includes technologies designed for crisis management, early warning systems, and gas detection.
Honeywell's stand can be found in the US Pavilion, Hall 7, Stand 7310, of ADIPEC, which is running from the 13-16 November, 2017, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
