Emirates has announced that it will reduce its fights to John F Kennedy International Airport in New York to twice a day between June 4 and June 20.
The airline currently operates three daily non-stop flights from Dubai to JFK airport.
Normal operations will be resumed from July 1.
Emirates has announced last month that it will reduce flights to five American destinations due to low demand after the US electronics ban.
“Emirates can confirm that one of its three daily non-stop flights (EK 207/208) serving the New York (JFK)–Dubai (DXB) route will be cancelled from June 04, 2017 to June 30, 2017. This flight will be re-introduced on July 01, 2017,” an Emirates spokesperson told Arabian Business.
The move comes as part of Emirates’ routine operational review and will ensure that flight capacities are best deployed to serve customer demands, the spokesperson said.
