Ali Al Jassim, the CEO of Etihad ESCO, has released a statement on Earth Hour 2019, which falls on March 30.
He said that Etihad ESCO and TAQATI are committed “to achieve sustainable development, while preserving air quality.”
“We are committed to making the UAE a better and sustainable place for us and coming generations. I am glad to add that we were able to save 106 GWh of electricity per annum from our delivered project. Our efforts support the UAE Vision 2021 to achieve sustainable development, while preserving air quality, protecting water resources, increasing the share of clean energy, and adhering to green development principles. It also takes us closer to the realization of Dubai’s ambitious target of 30 per cent reduction in energy consumption by 2030,” he said.
