Qatar Airways will be launching an additional daily flight to Madinah from October 26, it announced yesterday.
The additional flight will increase the number of Qatar Airways’ weekly flights on the Doha – Madinah route from seven to 14 weekly services.
"We have been steadily growing our presence and services to Saudi Arabia," said Qatar Airways group chief executive officer Akbar Al Baker. "The additional daily flight to Madinah will now bring additional connectivity for passengers connecting from Asia, the Middle East and other GCC countries.
"From Madinah, passengers will be able to travel seamlessly through our Doha hub to popular cities such as London, Paris, Bangkok, Hong Kong, New York and Washington.”
Qatar Airways currently operates 79 weekly flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which will rise to 86 flights per week with the introduction of the additional flights to Madinah.
The new additional flights will be operated with an Airbus A320 in a two-class configuration, with 12 seats in First Class and 132 in Economy Class.
