Jet Aviation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, has announced that its maintenance facility in Vienna is now authorised to support the Bombardier Learjet 60 with line and base maintenance services up to and including the 120-month inspection.
Receiving the EASA Part-145 approval for the Bombardier Learjet 60 aircraft, the company has already begun its first 120-month inspection on a Turkish-based Learjet 60 at the start of June.
Commenting on the approval, Hakan Tin, managing director of Jet Aviation’s MRO and FBO facility in Vienna, shared: “We strive to meet the business aviation service requirements of our customers when and where they need them.
“As a mid-size, medium-range business jet, the Learjet 60 is a popular model in Europe and this approval provides much-needed maintenance support to aircraft owners and operators throughout the region.”
Incepted back in September 2014, Jet Aviation Vienna was created as a result of agreements inked between Jet Aviation with GATE V and FAME, the previous MRO and FBO service provides at Vienna International Airport.
