Dubai-based flydubai has tapped NYCO to introduce Turbonycoil 600, a synthetic standard turbine oil, across the entirety of its Boeing 737 fleet.

Ideally suited for high-stress engine designs, such as SAE AS 5780 SPC Class and MIL-PRF-23699 STD Class, Turbonycoil 600as has reportedly logged more than 30 years of experience in jet engines of both military and commercial aircraft.

To date, flydubai’s fleet comprises of 61 Boeing 737 aircraft, which includes Boeing Next Generation 737-800 aircraft powered by CFM56-7B engines. The airline’s fleet also includes a number of Boeing 737 MAX 8 powered by Leap-1B engines with up to 296 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft on order.

NYCO recently established a storage unit within the Jebel Ali Free Zone in the UAE, the local depot supplying airlines, MROs and OEMs access to its range of products. These include a variety of turbine oils, hydraulic fluids and greases.

The establishment of the facility in the free zone is the latest effort by the French company to establish supply chains in critical markets, the other recent launches include storage sites in Paris CDG, Singapore and in Atlanta, USA.
