Gloob, a children's entertainment channel by Brazil's Globo Group, has signed a deal to air the first season of 'Brainiacs' across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The show will be aired on National Geographic Kids Abu Dhabi, which is owned by the Fox Networks Group.
The 26×26-minute programme shows the life of a 12-year-old boy who discovers his passion for robotics.
Filmed in 4K, the show is coproduction by Gloob and Mixer Films, based in Brazil. The first season of Brainiacs is also available on Globoplay, the Globo Group’s video on demand streaming platform.
The show is directed by Marcelo Cordeiro and Jeferson De, and produced by Hugo Janeba, Michel Tikhomiroff, Fábio Quinterio, Joāo Daniel Tikhomiroff, and Eliane Ferreira.
According to media reports, Brainiacs has also been picked up to air in Angola and Mozambique.
