Netflix Arabic original Dollar begins streaming on Aug 8

Dollar, the latest Middle East original from Netflix will drop to all 151 million subscribers in 190 countries on Thursday 8th August, 2019.

Starring Adel Karam and Amal Bouchoucha, Dollar tells the story of a one dollar bill, worth a whole lot more.

It all starts when advertising mastermind, Tarek (Adel Karam), is tasked with coming up with a million dollar idea for the launch of a new bank in Lebanon.

He says he’s got it, but will only share his idea with the CEO. Something’s off, and the bank’s hard-hitting young CFO, Zeina (Amal Bouchoucha), can sense it. But can she put the pieces of the puzzle together before things get out of hand?

Dollar set in modern day Lebanon, is a true Middle Eastern production with an entire Arab cast and directed by renowned Syrian director, Samer Berkawi, produced by Cedars Art Production - Sabbah Brothers, and written by Hisham Hilal.

The series is dubbed in and available in 28 languages.

The series is also available in five languages Neutral Spanish, English, Castilian Spanish, Turkish and Brazilian Portuguese.
