A circular issued by the Government of Dubai on Sunday said gyms, cinemas, theme parks, amusement games and electronic games centres and spring camps are to be suspended.
It comes as a further case of coronavirus was confirmed in the UAE on Sunday morning, taking the total number to 86.
Over the weekend, authorities ordered all entertainment destinations to suspend operations and called on all hospitality establishments and wedding halls to stop wedding gatherings from Sunday until the end of the month.
Inspections will be carried out to verify compliance with the circular, it added.
Meanwhile, in Abu Dhabi cinemas, video game centres and lounges have been ordered to close their doors, to stop the spread of coronavirus.
Information sent out in two separate circulars, from the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), called for “entertainment destinations in the emirate to temporarily suspend operations”.
