Huawei issues with Trump, US 'net positive' for 5G and market share - Nokia executive

A Nokia executive has said Huawei's ongoing disputes with Donald Trump and the US government are a "net positive" for rival companies.

Tommi Uitto, president of mobile networks at Nokia, told CNN Business in an interview on June 27 the ongoing dispute has "opened the door" for increasing market share, and particularly for 5G.

While Nokia has signed 43 commercial 5G deals worldwide, Huawei has at least 50.
