US state attorneys general sue to stop Sprint and T-Mobile merger over mobile monopoly concerns

Multiple US state attorneys general have jointly filed a lawsuit to stop the planned US$26 billion merger of Sprint and T-Mobile.

If the merger goes through, it would reduce the number of US nationwide wireless carriers to three from four.
