Epsilon supports hybrid network connections to Google Cloud with Partner Interconnect

Epsilon, a cloud-centric global connectivity and communications service provider, today announced support for Google Cloud’s Partner Interconnect, a service from Google Cloud that is designed to allow customers to connect to Google Cloud Platform globally.

Partner Interconnect is a product in the Google Cloud Interconnect family. Another product in the family, Dedicated Interconnect, designed to provide higher-speed and lower-cost connectivity than VPN, and has become the “go-to” solution to connect on-premise data centres to Google Cloud.

With Partner Interconnect, customers can now choose Epsilon to provide connectivity from their facility to the nearest Google edge point of presence. In addition, they will also be able to select from a variety of subrate interface speeds varying from 50Mbps to 10Gbps.

Epsilon’s Cloud Connect solution is offered through its software-defined networking (SDN) platform, Infiny by Epsilon. The platform allows customers to establish dedicated connections to Google Cloud Platform delivered via Epsilon’s MEF-certified ethernet service. Infiny enables flexible and secure direct access to an ecosystem of cloud service providers across the globe with added real-time network performance and analytics.
