Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management (FM) solutions in the GCC, has hosted a leadership program that is part of its ‘Succession Planning’ initiative at Zabeel Saray, The Palm Dubai.

The workshop is one of a series of activities specially designed for Imdaad’s senior and middle management teams to ensure a strong succession planning program. The objective of the initiative was to identify and foster inspiring leadership elements through mentoring, coaching and training of the employees that will drive the business forward.

Organised by the Imdaad Human Capital (HC) team and Acquaint Learning and HR Consulting, the leadership program began with a half-day Leadership Masterclass by the well-known international motivational speaker Carole Spiers, who is also a guest-broadcaster for the BBC and a best-selling author.

The core topic addressed during the workshop was ‘Managing Pressure to Achieve Organizational Excellence’. The participants were presented with the Certificate of Participation after successfully completing the training program as well as a personalised copy of Carole’s latest book 'Show Stress Who’s Boss'.

Jamal Lootah, CEO, Imdaad, said: “We had organized the leadership program for our senior and middle management to prepare them to handle pressure while fulfilling their professional duties. They have always given appreciative performances, which has been vital in the growth and success of the company. However, the expectations to deliver will increase in the coming future as we prepare for big projects especially Expo 2020.

"Imdaad continues to remain true to its commitment to develop and provide support for its management team. The program has taught us to remain focused while we learn to handle stress and deliver results even under pressure.”
