The Ministry of Interior (MoI) and Qatar Petroleum (QP) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to build housing facilities for the Ministry at Mesaieed Industrial City.

Director of south security department Brig. Mohammed Jassim Al-Sulaiti and director of industrial cities’ affairs at QP Abdul Azeez Jassim Al-Muftah signed the MoU at Mesaieed Industrial City.

Al-Sulaiti stressed the importance of constructive cooperation between the MoI and QP in different fields that serve the security and safety of the community.

Al-Muftah thanked the Ministry for ‘building bridges’ with different authorities in the country including QP, reminding that the recently opened Ras Laffan and Emergency and Safety College (RLESC) was the giant project which resulted from this cooperation between MOI and QP.

He stressed on the continuance of this cooperation in more fields as part of QP’s corporate social responsibility.
