Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Housing announced it has allocated 28,051 residential units across all regions of the kingdom.
Of the total figure, 7,700 homes will be financed in partnership with banks and institutions; 7,807 will be free of charge; and 12,544 will be handed within the Wafi programme, which is implemented in partnership with real estate developers.
State agency SPA reported that the homes will be delivered as part of the Sakani programme's seventh batch.
Sakani, which translates to 'My Residence', aims to allocate and deliver 280,000 homes to Saudi families.
The latest update brings the number of homes announced by the ministry since February to 156,008 units.
