Construction on Bahrain's Maqaba Sewerage Network project is 80% complete, it has been revealed.
The project in Block 517 is being developed by the kingdom's Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs, and Urban Planning.
Upon completion, 41 homes and facilities will be connected to the network, with 10 already linked.
Works are underway to extend sub-connections to 400m, with 165m of the project already completed.

Due for completion this year, work on the $490,000 (BHD185,000) project is being implemented by Abdul Karim Al Jahrami Contracting.
These details were revealed by Nazha Abu Hindi, the director of sanitary engineering planning and projects at the ministry.
According to a report by state news agency, BNA, the project is one of the sanitary development programme being implemented in the country's Northern Governorate.
