Majid Al Futtaim plans to create a mixed-use community in Dubai called Tilal Al Ghaf, which will have thousands of luxury freehold homes.
Tilal Al Ghaf is an under-development 3km² project that will see 6,500 apartments, townhouses, bungalows, and luxury villas built for the new Dubai community.
Boasting 400,000m² of open space, a 70,000m² lagoon for public swimming, and a 48,000m² water canal, Majid Al Futtaim has called Tilal Al Ghaf its “flagship community” project.
The mixed-used community development will be built in several stages. Majid Al Futtaim, which operates 21 shopping malls, 12 hotels and three mixed-use communities, wants the entire project completed by 2027.
Aside from the size, scope, and name of the project, we do not know much more about the construction of the mixed-used Tilal Al Ghaf community.
What Majid Al Futtaim has said so far is that Tilal Al Ghaf is designed to offer residents a lifestyle that “nurtures mind, body, and soul”, with luxury homes surrounded by natural landscapes, and bustling retail, leisure, and entertainment outlets.
An “extensive” number of indigenous Ghaf trees will be planted in the community to keep the development rooted in the natural heritage of the UAE, according to Majid Al Futtaim.
It is the forth community project developed by Majid Al Futtaim, following the launch of Al Zahia in Sharjah, UAE, Al Mouj Muscat in Oman, and Waterfront City in Lebanon.
Dubai’s latest flagship community project will be officially launched on April 19 at the Majid Al Futtaim Experience Centre, Kempinski Hotel, where further details of the mixed-use development are expected to be made public.
