Austrian developer Kleindienst will hand over first round of properties at its Heart of Europe project off Dubai’s coast by the end of this year, according to reports by Arabian Business.

The properties will include 40 Floating Seahorses and will be delivered on the cluster of six islands at Dubai’s ambitious The World development – located 4km off the country’s coastline.

Kleindienst, according to Arabain Business, said the five-star Portofino Hotel, which is also family-owned, is pencilled in for the turn of the year too.

Monday’s update was announced a year and a half after the developer appointed in December 2016 JK Bauen Building Contracting, Wuchang Ship Building Industry Group Co Ltd, and Sino Great Wall International Engineering Co Ltd to complete the construction of ‘The Heart of Europe’.

All companies will carry out the construction of all the hotels located on The Heart of Europe’s main hub, Main Europe Island, as well as villas on Germany Island, buildings and resort facilities on St Petersburg Island, and the building and infrastructure on the other three islands in the project.

In March, Revolution Precrafted was awarded a $3.2bn (AED11.8bn) contract to work within the master development. The contract entails a partnership between the Philippines-based company and Seven Tides, which owns 10 islands within the man-made archipelago.
