Dubai developer Ellington Properties has broken ground on its latest Belgravia-branded residential project in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC).

Belgravia Heights II is Ellington's fourth project under the same brand same.

Upon completion, the building will have 137 studios, as well as one- and two-bedroom apartments. It will also have a landscaped podium, featuring a swimming pool, children’s play area, and a gym.

It is being built to attract young couples and families to the upcoming JVC community in Dubai, which is based behind Emirates Hills, a gated community led by Emaar Properties.

The ground-breaking ceremony for Belgravia Heights II took place in the presence of numerous construction-related stakeholders.

In a statement to the media, boutique developer Ellington said: "The design of the building, together with an active retail streetscape, and elevated amenity floor creates an innovative and engaging community feel to all aspects of the project."

The company did not say when the project would be completed or how much it will cost to build.

But its ground-breaking event came just two months after the developer celebrated the first day of construction for sister project Belgravia Heights I, which is slighter larger than Belgravia Heights II. It will include 155 studios, one- and two-bedroom units, as well as a landscaped podium, swimming pool, children’s play area, and gym.
