Imdaad has recently been awarded a five-star ranking at the third edition of Taqdeer Award in Dubai in recognition of the company’s initiatives aimed at providing the best working conditions for its labor staff.

The awards are given out by the government of Dubai under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The Taqdeer Award recognises companies that adopt best practices in employee welfare, ensuring a balanced and mutually beneficial relationship between employer and employee.

Imdaad was presented with the honours ahead of 400 companies that entered.

Jamal Abdulla Lootah, group CEO, Imdaad said: “The five-star rank Taqdeer Award is a key milestone in our journey and is a fitting testament to our employee-centric strategies, which we are immensely proud of. We remain committed to further improving the working conditions for our employees and ensure their satisfaction to help them achieve proper work-life balance, which, in turn, will lead to increased productivity and efficiency for our company.”

To earn a five-star rating a company needs to follow a rigorous assessment of its employee welfare practices including its overall treatment of workers, the infrastructure of accommodation provided, work environment, wages, as well as health and safety and open-door policies.

As for Imdaad, employee welfare initiatives such as its well kitted out ‘Manzeli’ staff accommodation, health and safety and medical insurance coverage held the FM company in good stead.

The Dubai-based FM company has also introduced a robust employee engagement strategy in addition to a confidential open-door policy with its group CEO called Imdaadi.
