At the helm of Dubai Financial Market-listed, multibillion-dollar conglomerate Damac Properties is the group’s founder and chairman, Hussain Sajwani, who has led the company through major construction projects in the region.
According to Sajwani, one of the most significant challenges for the company of late has been “finding and hiring talented individuals”.
Between June 2018 and May 2019, Damac has been working on projects such as Damac Towers by Paramount; Golf Town in Damac Hills; Damac Heights and Residences – with interiors by Fendi Casa; and Damac Towers Riyadh.
The real estate firm's net profits in the first quarter of 2019 which stood at $8.4m (AED31m) declined by 94%, compared to $131.7m (AED483.9m) in Q1 2018.
