Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, HH Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, has visited Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTI Park), where the emirate’s first 3D-printed houses are being constructed by Dutch technology provider Cybe Construction, in collaboration with American University of Sharjah (AUS).

According to a Wam report, Sheikh Sultan was briefed on the progress of the project, as well as the latest techniques used in its development, during his visit to the park’s headquarters.

Sharjah is targeting 3D printing as part of its efforts to adopt technologies linked with the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
