Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) has contributed $816,782.1 (AED3m) towards the Ma’an ‘Together We Are Good’ programme, as part of its efforts to support the UAE community in addressing the impact of COVID-19 outbreak.
The organisation commended the efforts and decisive action of the UAE authorities, as well as the work of the healthcare professionals to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus, it said in a statement.
In addition, ADNIC has taken several steps to support its customers amid the outbreak. The authority has become one of the first insurance companies in the UAE to arrange teleconsultation facilities for insured members, with medical providers, thereby offering its customers easy access to consultation during the ongoing crisis.
Speaking about its efforts, ADNIC's chairman, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Saif Al-Nahyan, said: "ADNIC is proud to support the UAE government and community in navigating the different challenges created by the COVID-19 outbreak. In challenging times, it is essential that the business community utilises its resources to help those who need it most.”
