UK-headquartered law firm DWF has appointed Edoardo Betto to its Dubai-based division – DWF Middle East LLP – in line with strengthening its coporate practice in the Midde East.
Betto, who has more than 14 years of experience – including nine years in Saudi Arabia – will provide corporate counsel to clients in the kingdom and the wider GCC region.
Edoardo joins DWF Middle East LLP from DLA Piper, Saudi Arabia, where he was the legal director and head of its Khobar Office, which he established.
Edoardo has advised on various corporate and commercial matters from mergers and acquisitions (M&A deals), and joint ventures (JV deals), to regulatory affairs, inbound investments, and commercial agreements, particularly in the infrastructure, manufacturing, and oil and gas sectors.
Edoardo will be responsible for growing the existing corporate offering at DWF, working alongside the head of Corporate (Middle East) and Defence and Security, Kayaan Unwalla, and the legal director, Jonathan Burton.
