Bahraini royal receives Sonal Ambani sculpture in recognition of humanitarian work

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has received an abstract horse sculpture designed by Indian artist Sonal Ambani in recognition of his services to youth and humanitarian initiatives.

Bahraini businessman Qutub Dadabai, chief executive of the Young Presidents Organisation, gave HH Sheikh Nasser the gift in thanks for the Bahraini royal's continued support of charity, sports and youth engagement, according to Bahrain's state-run news agency.

It is unclear what he will do with the commemorative gift, but HH Sheikh Nasser is believed to have reaffirmed his support of intaitives for young people and programmes to boost the economy.

It is also unclear if India-born artist Sonal Ambani was commissioned to design the sculpture specifically for HH Sheikh Nasser.
