Damac Properties is working on “stylish and inviting” interior designs for its mixed-used Aykon City megaproject being developed on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.
The developer – which has worked with Italian fashion houses Versace and Fendi on interior design projects in the past – is planning something equally special for its latest megaproject.
“Damac’s in-house interior design team is currently working alongside the on-site teams on delivering stylish and inviting homes and hotel residences,” the property developer said.
Aykon City is a four-tower mixed-use developed in the heart of Dubai that will eventually cover more than 27ha of land upon completion.
Architectural design house Killa Design – the company behind Dubai’s Museum of the Future – was involved in the initial design stage for the second phase of Aykon City, which comprises Tower A and Tower D.
Damac said construction is ongoing on the first two towers – B and C. The former is a hotel resident with 1,210 rooms while the latter is a 232m-tall residential towers with 968 units. Both will be equipped with lifestyle and wellness facilities, including a top fitness centre and spa amenities, complemented by an outdoor swimming pool and landscaped areas offering city and canal views.
