City Walk’s indoor space is to transform into an open-air canvas as Dubai Canvas returns to town.

Top muralists from around the world and closer to home will create 3D works under the theme ‘Travelling through Art.'

The open-air easel show is here for a month, from the first day of Eid Al Adha to August 31st.

There'll also be live pendulum paintings and interactive calligraphy sessions at the Brand Dubai and Merass partnered festival.

Global guests include Guinness World Record holder, Juandrés Vera. The Spanish creative blends street art with realism and found his way into the Guinness Book of World Records in 2013 when he and his team set a record for the world’s longest anamorphic pavement art.

Two of the UAE’s most promising artists, 23-year old Mahra Al Falahi and 37-year old Saggaf Al Hashemi will be creating their own captivating 3D artworks too.

Visitors at the free-to-attend festival can also see Serbian artist Milan Katanic, use a swinging pendulum instead of a paintbrush to create enthralling artworks.

Ahmed Al Mahri, one of the country's most accomplished calligraphic artists, will create contemporary calligraphic murals and host an interactive calligraphy show.

Dubai Canvas also features workshops and musical performances that anyone can join in.
