Alserkal Avenue, the arts hub in Dubai's Al Quoz, is back after closing temporarily while we all stayed home.

Businesses there are re-opening "at their own pace" and we can confirm that you can now get your creative kicks at Gulf Photo Plus, joyous Happy Studio and Gallery Isabelle Van, browse vinyl at The Flip Side and re-fuel at Nightjar.

A full list of everywhere that's open and their opening hours can be found at alserkalavenue.ae/en/event/covid-19-updates.php

If you still prefer to interact online, then Alserkal has got your back.

Every Monday in June from 8pm, The Fridge, in collaboration with alserkal.online and Platinum List Live, is bringing back the music - virtually! Every Monday night at 8PM (GST) in June, tune in to alserkal.online to watch some of the region’s favourite musicians live from The Fridge warehouse at Alserkal Avenue.

On June 8th it's the turn of Dubai-based composer and songwriter Viktoriia Demi, followed by visual artist Noush Like Sploosh on June 15th.

Another online event beckons on June 10th, when the first live-stream edition of PechaKucha features speakers exploring the Japanese concept of celebrating imperfection, or wabi-sabi.

Catch The Practice of Imperfection from 8pm - it's free and guests can register here

While each outlet has its own guidelines for visiting, general rules for visiting Alserkal Avenue include wearing a mask at all times, social distancing and temperature checks. Sorry parents - children aged three to 12 and over 60s are not permitted.
