Alserkal Lates kicks off a fresh season

Can't make it to the creative avenues of Alserkal during the working week?

Alserkal Lates gives worker bees and night owls the chance to up the amount of art in their life.

For this instalment of the regular art event, galleries will be open from 10am-10pm on Saturday, September 19.

You can see new exhibitions at participating galleries after dark, including Lawrie Shabibi, Grey Noise, Zawyeh Gallery, Green Art Gallery, 1x1 Art Gallery, Gulf Photo Plus, Ishara Art Foundation, Gallery Isabelle van den Eynde, SVENM, Showcase, Ayyam Gallery, CHI-KA, Carbon 12, and Elmarsa Gallery, among others.

Also, doors are finally open on the Alserkal Arts Foundation exhibition, New Waves: Mohamed Melehi and the Casablanca Art School Archives, which runs until October in Concrete.

Can't make Saturday? The exhibitions will welcome visitors for the next few weeks (Saturdays - Thursdays, 10am-7pm).

For those who prefer their culture VR, Alserkal is also hosting tours and engaging interviews on, and its Instagram channel.
