Inside Souk Madinat Jumeirah is transforming into a huge immersive digital art space from October.

The inaugural multimedia exhibition will open in October featuring artworks from Monet To Kandinsky.

Theatre of Digital Art (ToDA) is being created by European digital production house Vision Multimedia Projects. It was slated to launch in February 2020.

The impressive art space covers 1,800 m2 and will display digital shows that combine high-end technologies with classical art, accompanied by stunning music, visual effects, and surround sound.

ToDA is the first in the art initiative in the UAE to combine all three formats of digital art including multimedia exhibitions, contemporary immersive installations, and art in virtual reality.

The inaugural exhibition comes to Dubai after a global tour of 11 cities in countries including Russia and Thailand. It will showcase nine celebrated artists - From Monet to Kandinsky, Revolutionary Art, and portrays the most important art movements of late 19th and early 20th centuries led by Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Wassily Kandinsky and more.

With social distancing measures in place, visitors can experience traditional and classical art through digital screens. There'll also be a contemporary digital art section, an interactive area for children and a virtual reality zone.
