Government buildings, museums and galleries, cinemas and theatres, schools and universities, airports or hospitals in the Middle East are all eligible for the award for interior design of the year - public sector.

Judges will be looking for designs that strongly reflect the requirements of stakeholders, but which also promote accessibility and innovation.

Despite a uniquely challenging year, we've received nearly 300 submissions across 17 categories for this year's event.

Winners will be announced at the 14th edition of the Commercial Interior Design Awards, which this year take place at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai on November 25.
