Naser Almarzooqi is head of facilities nanagement at Masdar City. In this role, Almarzooqi is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the city’s assets, including facilities and infrastructure systems/network operations and maintenance, engineering services operations and maintenance, and facilities management consultancy, city security and city facilities services.
Committed, results-oriented and customer focused, Almarzooqi brings a modern leadership style to his position at Masdar City.
Prior to his current appointment, he was a facilities management director at Dubai Asset Management (IDAMA), a subsidiary of Dubai Properties Group.
He was in charge of all asset management activities for the Business Bay, Dubai Healthcare City and The Villa developments and managed a staff of 450 people across five departments, including engineering facilities services MEP facilities services, customer business, retail and fit out, and account services.
Additionally, he managed handover for completed portions of these projects. Also with Idama he previously was a facilities management senior manager at Jumeirah Beach Residence.
Almarzooqi earned a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle in the UK. He also received a MSc in Operations and Management from London’s City University in the UK.
