In early 2007 Malay Shroff was put in charge of Hitches & Glitches with a mandate to revitalise the business by improving delivery of services and establish the company as a brand synonymous to ‘peace of mind’. Hitches & Glitches launched with a couple of mobile teams working round the clock in gated communities such as Springs, Meadows and Arabian Ranches.
Today there are about 300 employees, nearly 80 vehicles, a 24-hour call centre serving over 1,500 residential units and almost 150 schools of the Ministry of Education.
Currently Shroff is actively involved with the facilities management division, which was launched in 2011 to provide services to larger residential, commercial and institutional facilities. “Retaining over 80% of customers through renewal of annual maintenance contracts in last seven years in itself is a landmark achievement,” said Shroff.
He is a graduate in Science from University of Bombay and holds a postgraduate qualification in Management. In the 30 years of his career, he has held several positions in international sales, marketing and general management. He has been with the Dreshak Group since 2005.
