Jeevan D’mello, who heads Emaar Community Management (ECM), has professionally trained as an architect, and has had a wide ranging international career in real estate design, project management, customer service and community management.
The firm picked up the Sustainability Initiative of the Year prize at the 2012 fmME awards for its work on Downtown Dubai communities. He is an author and illustrator and has several published works internationally. He was the first professional in the region to receive the Certified Manager of Community Associations and Association Management Specialist designations by the Community Associations Institute (CAI). In 2012, D’Mello earned CAI’s first international Large Scale Manager designation and became one of the first international Professional Community Association Managers. He is authorised by the Dubai Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) to lecture at the Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) and regularly provides training on Owners Association Management. ECM, under D’Mello’s leadership, manages over 50 Owners Associations with a portfolio of over 32,000 units with an annual budget of $163.35 million.
