Milan-based chef patissier Ernest Knam will be showcasing a number of treats at the fifth edition of Gourmet Abu Dhabi held from February 6-9.
Knam invites guests to indulge in delicious specialities including a variety of chocolate cakes and mousses, truffles, and sweet and savoury biscuits at 18 Degrees and at Profiterole at the Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi. Knam will be hosted by executive sous chef Ivan Musoni.
“The hotel is eager to participate in Gourmet Abu Dhabi 2013, as this is an event where only the best in the capital take part in. This provides us with the opportunity to invite our guests to sample the high quality food we prepare” said chef Ivan.
Knam has worked in many Michelin-starred restaurants. Pastry has always been his focus and he had his first work experience as an apprentice in Germany where he was born.
Knam’s signature creations include Chocolate Cake with Almond Pumpkin Cream, a delicious Three Chocolate Mousse with Passion Fruit Jelly and Singapore Mousse with Exotic Fruits and Curry. In addition, Chef Knam will also prepare chocolates in the shape of a house, with the iconic skyline of Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi.
