"Food For All", a food distribution truck by Emirates Islamic in cooperation with Beit Al Khair Society, is rolling out to feed the needy across the country, with planned regular weekly distributions, according to Gulf News.

Emirates Islamic operational quality and processes general manager Awatif Al Harmoodi said: "Our collaboration with Beit Al Khair Society demonstrates our full support to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s initiative of making 2017 the Year of Giving and builds on our nation’s legacy of generosity."

The "Food For All" truck will roll out across the emirates, distributing light meals for blue-collar workers, "with the objective to support and encourage this most important segment of our society", said Beit Al Khair general manager Abdeen Taher Al Awadi.

In 2016, Emirates Islamic donated AED 1 million (US $272,400) to Beit Al Khair Society as part of its charity fund’s annual Ramadan campaign to provide financial support in the areas of food, shelter, health, education and social welfare.
