The Meydan Hotel has appointed Jan Hollunder at the new executive assistant manager – food and beverage. Hollunder brings more than two decades of experience.
The German national started his career in 1997 after he completed his hotel business studies in Duesseldorf, Germany. Hollunder has worked in various hotel chains including USA, UK, Bahamas, Germany, Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman and UAE.
In his new role, Hollunder will oversee the hotel’s in-room dining, banquet food and beverage operations in addition to seven restaurants and lounges including PRIME fine-dining steakhouse, Shiba Chinese and Japanese restaurant, international all-day dining Farriers, Millennium Lounge, Qube Sports Bar, Shiba Bar and Equus Pool Bar.
