Airbnb records more than 30% booking growth in Q1
Airbnb booked 91 million nights on its platform in Q1

Holiday home rental service Airbnb recorded US$9.4 billion in total booking value in Q1 2019, which is a 31% rise in comparison to 2018.

According to Khaleej Times, Airbnb booked 91 million nights on its platform in Q1, which lead to the surge in total booking value.

In addition to that, the company also had $3.5 billion in cash on its balance sheet as of March 31.

According to the newspaper, the company reported a 40% revenue growth rate in 2018 when compared to the same period in the previous year.

Recently, Airbnb announced that it recorded the busiest night in its history over Eid Al Adha, with 4 million guest arrivals taking place all over the world on August 10.
