DIFC’s latest addition Gate Village 11 is filling up fast, with two more international restaurants confirming their upcoming presence.

According to WhatsOn, Madrid-born concept Amazonico is set to open its doors at the end of October, while Cannes hotspot Baoli will also be opening in the location before the end of the year sister title Caterer Middle East reported.

Amazonico is, unsurprisingly, inspired by the South American rainforest, and describes itself as being “born from the encounter of the Brazilian and Spanish culture” with a menu designed by chefs Sandro Silva and Marta Seco.

WhatsOn says it will be split into three space including a ground floor sushi counter and lounge, a first floor restaurant, and an open-air rooftop with private dining area, and will be the second Amazonico venue worldwide.

Meanwhile, Baoli is known as one of the places to be seen on the French Riviera with the likes of Bono and Jay Z known to be regulars.

The Mediterranean eatery turns into a nightclub in the evenings and is renowned for its decadent décor.

They will join the likes of China Tang from Bulldozer Group also set to open in the new Gate Village 11 this year.
